Skate Canada is committed to providing special needs athletes with program and competitive opportunities.

We are very pleased that the Goulbourn Skating Club has been honoured with a Special Olympic Ontario designation.

We are a registered Skate Canada Club and as such our Professional Coaches are all NCCP Certified Skate Canada Instructors. Skaters with an intellectual or developmental disability are invited to join our Special Olympic Program to learn and improve upon their skating skills. All levels of skaters are welcome, from the beginner who has never skated before up to and including competitive level skaters.

For more information, please contact us: goulbournscinfo@gmail.com

Our Special Olympics program also uses on-ice skater volunteers to assist the professional coaching staff.  If you are interested in being an on-ice volunteer, please contact us for more information.  A valid police record check and further documentation will be required.
