Synchronized skating combines athleticism and artistry with teamwork while encouraging fun and participation. Different categories accommodate skaters at any age and skill level. In order for synchronized skaters to improve their skating skills they are typically also enrolled in the Skate Canada STARSkate stream.

Starlight Synchronized Skating Teams are co-hosted by Goulbourn Skating Club and March Kanata Skating Club, with skaters from all over the Greater Ottawa area joining the teams. For more information, including where and when to register, please email our Synchro Director.

The 2023-2024 Goulbourn Skating Club Intermediate Starlight Synchronized Skating Team was recognized at the Ottawa Sports Awards Dinner held on February 5, 2025. The Skate Canada Cup Gold Medalists and National Champions were award winners in the Championship-Winning Team category.
