Coaching Philosophy
"Recognition of the unique strengths, potential and creativity of each athlete is central to my coaching philosophy. I facilitate an environment of purposeful training - coupled with patience and encouragement, and take care to nurture creativity, artistic and athletic abilities. Building on strong fundamentals, technique and growth, I encourage skaters to explore their limits and develop a strong intuition of dedication and hard work, both on and off the ice. Life lessons are born on the ice that influence self-esteem, discipline and fitness. It is a privilege to be part of the journey!"
